Semi-custom

Ved en semi-custom vikle har man ikke den fulde indflydelse på viklens udseende og blend som ved en custom. For en håndvævet semi-custom er trenden typisk valgt og farvet, fordi det er trenden fra en custom, men man kan selv vælge islættets materialer og farver samt vævemønsteret.

Creating a semi-custom you won't have that much saying in the design of the wrap as you do in a full custom wrap. If it's a hand woven semi-custom you buy in on the warp of an existing full custom, and you have no influence on the warp at all. But you decide the colours and materials of the weft, and you decide the weaving pattern on your piece.
